Patroli Satpol PP Palangka Raya Razia Gepeng, Kerap Minta Uang Warga Secara Paksa
PALANGKA RAYA – Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja atau Satpol PP Kota Palangka Raya menggelar patroli terhadap gelandangan dan pengemis atau Gepeng yang masih di temukan beraksi dan kerap meresahkan masyarakat, Jum’at 17 Mei 2024 malam.
Kegiatan dilakukan menjelang diselenggarakannya acara UCI MTB 2024 dan Festival Budaya Iseng Mulang dalam rangkaian Hari Jadi Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah ke-67.
Selain karena adanya event tersebut, kegiatan ini juga dilakukan atas banyaknya laporan ditemukannya Gepeng yang meminta uang secara paksa kepada masyarakat sehingga Satpol PP Kota Palangka Raya rutin melakukan giat patroli di beberapa lokasi tempat para Gepeng beraksi.
Berdasarkan laporan masyarakat tersebut, Tim yang di pimpin Kepala Satpol PP Kota Palangka Raya, Berlianto, berpatroli menyisir lokasi lokasi tempat biasa ditemukan Gepeng melakukan aksi mengemis.
Dalam patroli tersebut, Petugas hanya mendapati sejumlah badut yang berada di jalan Yos sudarso, Satpol PP tidak menindak dikarenakan sifatnya tidak mengganggu, sehingga hanya dilakukan pembinaan.
